ALSCO, Inc. – New Castle, Delaware
Performed complete electrical installation of a new 43,000 Sq foot facility
including: installation of new 2,000 AMP, 480-Volt service to provide power
to all wash tunnels, washers, dryer, conveyors, air compressors, boiler, KEMCO
System and general office HVAC, lights, and receptacles. This was a building
shell when we arrived on site. The project was completed in eight months.
Nixon Uniform – Beltsville, Maryland
Performed a complete installation of the new sorting conveyors and vacuum separator system. Provided new 200 AMP, 480-Volt panel and separate machine feeds to each station. Worked with owners and installation personnel to complete installation with minimal production down time.
Additionally for Nixon Uniform, we performed a complete installation of a new Milnor Wash Tunnel, Auto Conveyors, and (4) Gas Dryers. Relocated the existing equipment with minimal disruption, to keep production on track. Provided power to Overhead Conveyor for the Garment Sorting System.
Turnkey - Industrial Laundry Equipment Installation Services
To assist you in understanding the value of our specialized electrical contracting services for an industrial laundry machinery installation we've detailed the typical steps from the initial contact all the way to the final Wash Tunnel testing. We provide all of the electrical contracting and county permitting needed for the installation of your industrial laundry equipment.
- Meet with you at the proposed new building or property. Review any existing
electric power presently on location.
- Review your list of proposed equipment to be installed including the
Total Connected Loads of all equipment, HVAC, general lighting, and receptacles.
Plan to allow room for growth; built in with new electric coming to
building and main switchgear sections.
- Review layout of equipment in relation to the electric room location.
Place panels in locations throughout the building to allow for future growth
at any phase of the system.
- Review any overhead lighting with you. Provide cost saving alternatives
available through florescent high efficiency lighting and motion sensors.
- Meet with engineer for equipment layout and local jurisdiction over building
requirements. Meet with power company field representative to review proposed
electric service to the building. Review start and completion dates of
the power company.
- Obtain necessary permits for site work and begin all conduit runs and service feeders.
- Complete conduits as equipment is placed in position and leveled. Pull
wire and make connections. Work with factory field representatives to make
internal equipment connections and provide trough and auxiliary conduits
where necessary.
- Install all required CAT 6E Data Cable and phone cable throughout the
plant area and in offices. Test all lines.
- Work with all factory field representatives to complete equipment interfacing.
Install boiler controls.
- Assist in start-up of all equipment and conveyors, etc. Trouble shoot any required equipment and determine necessary repairs.
